The chains of society have been used to restrain and limit all that is beautiful in this country since the moment European colonials stepped foot on this land and claimed it as their own.

The broken idea of control has done nothing but create pain and confusion amongst our once beautiful country as the lines of right and wrong become more and more disjointed as we move further through time.

For a country with so much, very little can be said about its overall culture as the bounds of systematic oppression prevent modern Australia from connecting itself to the beauty and wonder of its First Nations people.

Time can only heal.

But until we remove the chains of fear and limitation from around the neck of our nation’s first people, we will never be whole.
