Dr Shellie Morris is a Yanyuwa/Wardaman Woman, and singer songwriter. The area of blue vibrating from the centre of the canvas outwards highlights the work contributed by Dr Morris in holding and sharing language within various communities. This blue flowing over her head/shoulder’s is also viewed as a timeline, with each line holding its own significance. Seen is the knowledge, wisdom, and connection held by Dr Morris with honour of her Old People/Ancestor’s.
