Culture for me is a very broad word because it makes
up who we are, who I am as a Gunggari, Kabi Kabi
man and the things I learn from others. My culture
has been afforded to me from my family and those
generous with their time to educate me on various
things.
In this piece a number of faces are seen, various
bones, and a tree resting to the right of the work.
This represents all that has been passed on from the
Old People, our Ancestors. While the colours used
suggest it’s late afternoon with the story of taking
new learnings and applying them in the days that
follow.
