This painting represents the changes in our history since the arrival of Captain James Cook and settlers.

The devastation this cased to Australia’s First Nations People from the taking of their tribal lands through force and unjust massacres, to the Governments Assimilation policy and the 1969 referendum which allowed Aboriginal people to be recognised and counted in the consensus.
